What is BiB BoB?

BiBBoB is a singular yoga based practice designed by Jonathan Monks for all six stages of pregnancy. In the pre-pregnancy stage, you’ll learn the shapes of BiB and Bob, and how they release unnecessary tensions from the hips and pelvic floor whilst in the initial weeks of pregnancy, you learn to “Host” the new guest in the space you’ve lovingly prepared. In second trimester, you learn how the “lodger”, the growing bump ‘pays its way’ through helping improve your posture and aid all movement, all the while toning and readying your body for birthing. The practice shifts heading toward ‘meeting day’ in the third trimester, where practice prioritises for the ‘big birthing day’, so that when it comes, whatever life dictates, you’ll feel the support of mother earth underneath you. And finally, “Post”, where reconnecting to the shapes of BiB and BoB reminds your body of how to repair, rejoin, helping you rejoice in motherhood.
